June 11 announcements

This week all congregations in Eastern District & Franconia Conference are praying for Methacton Mennonite Church in Norristown (Worcester/Fairview Village), PA.  The church asks that you pray for their growing children’s ministry and for the inroads they’re making into better knowing their neighbors and joining together with them on projects and worship.  To read more about Methacton, go to franconiaconference.org/profiles.

Blooming Glen Mennonite Church will host a free Summer Bible School for children preschool through fifth grade, from 9:00 am to noon, Monday, July 15 through Friday, July 19.  Register on line at bgmc.net/sbs for “Roar! Life is Wild – God is Good”.  For more information, contact Jen Hunsberger, Children’s Ministry Director, at 215-257-3431.

The MCC Material Resource Center needs volunteers! They have a specific need for a volunteer truck driver with tractor to shuttle a trailer between the Resource Center and Care & Share Thrift Shoppes, 2 times a month. There are also volunteer opportunities for all ages, helping in the warehouse, sorting items for resale/recycling or operating the baler. It’s a great opportunity for teens looking for summer volunteer time! Call 267-203-8074 for more information.
