November 27 announcements

Souderton Mennonite Church invites you to join them for Carols & Cookies, a holiday hymn sing, followed by cookies and refreshments, on Sunday, December 2 at 6:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bring the whole family! 

 

Travel back in time to Bethlehem to witness the First Christmas, as Deep Run West presents, “A Walk Through Bethlehem,” an outdoor living story, on Wednesday, December 5. You will be ushered through three stations as narrators tell the story of Jesus’ birth. Come face-to-face with the shepherds by the fireside, and join them in singing some Christmas carols.  A community meal will be served at 6:00 pm, followed by the program at 7:00. Admission is free. 

 

Join Dock Mennonite Academy at their EC to Grade 8 campus for the annual Christmas Benefit Concert on Friday, December 7 at 7:00 PM at Franconia Mennonite Church.  The concert will feature the Kindergarten students reciting Luke 2, the Third Grade Choir, Middle School Choir, Middle School Band, Jazz Ensemble, Middle School Orchestra, Select Strings and Handbells. The offering at the Christmas Benefit Concert will be matched dollar for dollar by several supportive families. Perkasie Mennonite Church and Patchwork Coffeehouse invite you to an Old-Fashioned Christmas on Sunday, December 16, at 3:00 pm, with music by the Tom and Betty Druckenmiller with Norm Williams, the Dulcimer Boys and the Kreider Family. Rob Yoder will lead the audience in a Christmas caroling. A prelude of holiday instrumental selections on classic guitar by Bert Coffman will begin at 2:40 pm.
