Come see, taste, touch, hear and feel the Lord’s Prayer in a whole new way during Deep Run West’s multi-sensory Thanksgiving Eve family event on Wednesday, November 21 at 7:00 pm. The event will feature six stations, each focusing on a verse of the Lord’s Prayer, with an interactive, sensory activity, and there will be a hymn sing and potluck dessert to follow. Zion Mennonite Church’s Table of Plenty will host a community Thanksgiving Day meal on Thursday, November 22 at 12:00 noon. Appetizers will be served at 11:30 am. The Mennonite Heritage Center invites you to view the exhibit: “Voices of Conscience: Peace Witness in the Great War” on display from November 23 to February 10. This traveling exhibit, produced by the Kauffman Museum, North Newton, KS, depicts the stories of peace protestors against the First World War.
