Franconia Conference and Eastern District Conference invite you to attend our Joint Conference Assembly, Friday and Saturday, November 2 & 3 at Souderton Mennonite Church. Join us for worship, music, new leader recognition, Digging Deeper breakout sessions, fellowship and much more. All sessions are open to ANYONE who wishes to attend, voting or non-voting, and lunch is free for anyone who pre-registers. Deep Run Mennonite Church West is hosting a Spike Ball Tournament for senior high youth and young adults on Sunday, October 14 from 2:00 to 6:00 pm. Official play and rules can be found at  www.spikeballroundnet.com.  Registration is $5 per two-person team; this event is outdoors and will be cancelled in case of severe weather. The Mennonite Heritage Center invites you to a premiere showing of the documentary filmIs There a Lesson: 45 Years with John Ruth and TourMagination” on Sunday, October 14 at 7:00 pm at Salford Mennonite Church.  The 90-minute video is woven from over four decades of John’s tours with TourMagination and emphasizes the Anabaptist theme of biblical nonresistance. This event is open to the public and an offering will be taken.  See www.mhep.org for information.


On Wednesday, October 17, Indian Creek Foundation will host the 4th Annual Foundation Fest & Community Open House at their main campus.  The public is invited to visit between 4:00 and 7:00 pm and learn about ICF’s programs and partnerships in the community.  This family friendly event will also feature live music, free food, face painting, a balloon artist, and a touch-a-truck area.


Zion Mennonite Church proudly presents Gordon Turk, Concert Organist and the “Fisk Organ Fiftieth” on Sunday, October 21 at 4:00 pm.  All are invited to help celebrate Zion’s 50 Years on Cherry Lane with a great afternoon of organ music.  No tickets are required and a free will offering will be collected. Dock Mennonite Academy (9-12 campus) is looking for a full-time custodian for 3:00 to 11:30 pm, Monday-Friday.  Job includes but is not limited to general cleaning of buildings, setting up and cleaning up after any activities. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, climb a ladder and have reliable transportation.  Submit applications to pbaker@dock.org


Dock Mennonite Academy (9-12 campus) is looking for a part time landscape laborer for up to 20 hours per week, flexible hours during the day.  Job includes general landscape work including but not limited to weed control, mowing, tree care, field preparation, and snow removal.  Must be able to lift 50 lbs and climb a ladder, be 18+ years of age, and have reliable transportation.
