On September 23 at 10:00 am, Frederick Mennonite Church is pleased to host the Newala Family for a special time of worship and the sharing of their work and the Word!  The Newala Family is making disciples and building relationships among East African refugees living in the U.S.  Come and be challenged and inspired to reach out to those around you!

Celebrate the harvest time at the 45th Annual Apple Butter Frolic at the Mennonite Heritage Center, Saturday, October 6 from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm. The Frolic is an opportunity to learn how Mennonites and their neighbors lived 100 or more years ago and it is great fun for young and old alike. Spring Mount Mennonite Church invites you to a Film & Discussion to view the new documentary, Won’t You Be My Neighbor? (PG-13), examining the life and legacy of Fred Rogers. Advocates for the Homeless of Upper Bucks (AHUB) is searching for a Program Director to administer the Code Blue Homeless Shelter in Quakertown.  This is a part time, seasonal position, with most responsibilities from November to April.  The time commitment is mostly in the evening, estimated at 15 – 20 hrs./wk., with a requirement of a Bachelor’s degree in Human Services and/or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.  If interested, please contact Jeff James at 267-218-1699 or longtrailbound@gmail.com.
