February 13 announcements

In the first of a new concert series, Souderton Mennonite Church presents two emerging young artists — Franco-American tenor, Joshua Bouillon, and Hungarian pianist, Adam Szokolay, both protégés of the Crescendo Summer Institute in Hungary founded by pastor Timothy Bentch. Join them February 18 at 3:00 pm for opera arias, songs, spirituals, and virtuoso piano solos. Tickets are not required and a free-will offering will be taken.

 

The Walking Roots Band – an acoustic-Americana, folk, bluegrass, and roots music group from Harrisonburg, VA – will be in concert on Saturday, March 3 at 7:00 pm, at Souderton Mennonite Church.  Tickets are available here, or in person at the church office.  For more info, call 215-723-3088 or email churchoffice@soudertonmennonite.org.

 

We Care prison ministry will be having a banquet on Saturday, March 3, 6:00 pm at the Franconia Heritage Restaurant. Finland Mennonite Church has been connected with a church in Puerto Rico over the past few years & is  now gearing up to send several groups to Puerto Rico again this summer to help rebuild what was lost  in hurricane Maria in September.  A benefit banquet, including an authentic Puerto Rican meal, speakers & worship will be held Saturday, March 10 at 4:00 pm.  The cost is a donation; please reserve your seat:​ 215-679-8980 OR ​finlandmennonitechurch@comcast.net.
