Franconia Mennonite Church will host the African Children’s Choir on Sunday, January 28 at 6:30 pm.  The children are fun, energetic, and inspirational, and their music and costumes are absolutely stunning!  A free-will offering will be received.


A Sweetheart Dinner for Married Couples will be held at Deep Run East Mennonite Church on Saturday, February 17, 5:30 to 7:30 pm. The guest speakers are Scott and Lynn Jackson, and the cost is $40.00 per couple. Salford Mennonite Church will host a Nonviolence Training Workshop on Saturday, February 17, 9:30 to 3:00.  Led by Sarah Sommers, Training Coordinator for Christian Peacemaker Teams, this workshop will cover basic nonviolence and protest skills in an interactive style, designed to get people up, moving and participating, and drawing on their own wisdom and experience. Learn about a ministry of the Tanzania Mennonite Church on the shores of Lake Victoria. Friends of Shirati, a nonprofit supporting medical and educational work in Tanzania, will hold its annual banquet on Saturday, March 10, at 6:00 pm at the Gathering Place in Mount Joy, Pennsylvania.
