November 7 announcements

Perkiomenville Mennonite Church is holding a Pancake and Sausage Breakfast and Bake Sale on November 18, 7:30 to 10:30 am to benefit a mission trip to Jilotzingo, Mexico.  The purpose of the trip is to help a small group of believers add a second floor to the church building which will serve as a temporary roof for the sanctuary. Donations of any amount are appreciated. 

 

You are invited to the Perkasie Patchwork Coffeehouse on November 18 featuring Scott Ainslie, as well as 99 Stringz.  Armed with a variety of instruments and carefully chosen anecdotes, Ainslie brings life to the history, roots music, and sounds of America.  99 Stringz is an acoustic trio playing largely traditional songs.  Doors open at 7:00 pm with performances at 7:30. Bally Mennonite Church, along with other Bally area churches, invites you to join them in thanking God for our many blessings with a special service on Wednesday, November 22 at 7:00 pm at Bally Mennonite Church.  There will be light refreshments after the service.  If you have any questions, call 610-845-7780.

 

A Young Adults Game Night will be held on Friday, November 24, 7:00 to 9:30 pm at Deep Run West Mennonite Church.  For ages 18-29, the evening will include guest speakers Vinnie & Vicky Sturdevant, large group games, prizes and great food!  This event is free; if you have questions, call Lisa Stenger: 267-897-0695.

 

The November issue of Peace & Justice News from the Peace & Justice Committee of Eastern District and Franconia Conferences is now posted at  efpjc.ppjr.org.  This issue include reports on compromised voting in Pennsylvania, criminal justice reform, immigration, and other topics, as well as announcements of the Winter Peace Retreat and the Christmas Peace Pilgrimage.
