The next Photo ID Clinic will be Saturday, October 28, 10 am to 12 noon at New Life Internet Café, 19 W. Marshall Street in Norristown. Need a photo ID, birth certificate, Social Security card, voter registration or social services applications? A Ten Thousand Villages International Crafts Festival will be held at Upper Milford Mennonite Church on Friday, November 3, 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm and Saturday, November 4, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.  All income from sales goes to Ten Thousand Villages which provides vital, fair income to Third World artisans by marketing their handicrafts in North America.  There will also be a bake sale to benefit MAMA Project.  For more info, call 610-966-2733, visit www.ummchurch.org or email ummchurch@ptd.net.


The West Swamp Men’s Bible Study will hold a Benefit Breakfast, November 4, 7:30 to 10:00 am.  Come enjoy pancakes, sausage, coffee and fellowship to support AHUB Code Blue (emergency shelter for homeless people on cold winter nights) and the Ripple Congregation of Allentown. No tickets necessary; donations of any amount appreciated.


The Write the Good Future Writing Contest has begun.  This contest encourages the writing of futuristic fictional stories in which the earth and humans live in hopeful and sustainable ways.  Anyone who is in grade 3 or above, including adults, can put their dreams and imaginations to paper and enter.  For more information, go to www.writethegoodfuture.org.
