The Awareness Foundation empowers young Christians in the Middle East to become ambassadors of peace in their communities, to strengthen inter-faith relations, and to encourage young people in Christ and give them hope for tomorrow.  Come to Rockhill Mennonite Church, Saturday, October 21, 7:00 to 9:00 pm, for an evening with Syrian appetizers and desserts, and hear Reverend Nadim Nassir (Syrian priest and director of the Awareness Foundation) talk about the importance of these programs.  RSVP’s appreciated but walk-ins welcome – contact Amin Al-Laty at 267-278-9133.


Do you struggle with depression, anxiety, overeating, anger, loneliness, addiction, fear, or other issues that prevent you from experiencing the life God has intended for you?  Celebrate Recovery is a nondenominational, Christ-centered recovery program that meets at Franconia Mennonite Church every Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 pm.  The first hour includes worship and a testimony or teaching, and then men and women gather separately in small groups to share struggles in a safe setting. A full-time, year-round Maintenance Technician position is open at Spruce Lake.  Position will have a focus on HVAC and plumbing, but also use your skills in electrical systems, carpentry, groundskeeping and general repairs.
