Join Living Branches on Saturday, August 26 for the annual Chicken BBQ, Silent Auction, and Gospel Music Fest at Souderton Mennonite Homes. There will be a special menu available in the Apple Orchard Café, games and entertainment for the younger crowd, a petting zoo and a show from the Lehigh Valley Zoo, music from the Brunner Family as well as the traditional chicken platters, baked goods and desserts, silent auction, car show, mommy market, and Jesse’s BBQ pulled pork sandwiches. In honor of the 100th anniversary of Souderton Mennonite Homes, Living Branches is hosting a Pennsylvania Dutch Baking Contest at the Chicken BBQ on Saturday, August 26 at 2:00 pm. Bakers – both kids and adults – are invited to submit recipes in the following categories: shoo fly pie, funny cake, apple pie, cinnamon rolls/sticky buns. Keystone Opportunity Center
invites you to Souderton for the 2017 SleepOut for Hunger and Homelessness.  Even though they are often well hidden, the needs of our local community members struggling with homelessness are just as real as those in urban areas.
