Junior High youth and sponsors: March 17 is the date of this year’s Late Night Blast at Dock Mennonite Academy! From 6:30 to 11:30 pm, we will have inspiring worship featuring Juan Marrero, fun games planned by Spruce Lake staff, great fellowship and all the pizza you can eat. Germantown Mennonite Historic Trust along with other partners will offer a workshop considering The Bible and Protest. With the 1688 Quaker-Mennonite Petition Against Slavery in mind, they will consider how God is leading people of faith to engage in our context.  Join them Mondays, March 6, 13 and 20 starting at 7:30 pm at the Historic Germantown Mennonite Meeting House, 6133 Germantown Avenue. All are welcome to come hear Jonathan Kuttab, a Palestinian Mennonite human rights lawyer and Rabbi Linda Holzman, of Jewish Voices for Peace, share in a presentation, “Palestinian and Jewish Voices for Peace” on April 22, 8:30 am at Dock Woods. They will speak on the diverse perspectives on Israel-Palestine and prospects for peace. The Seeking Peace in Israel and Palestine Resolution for Orlando will be part of the discussion.
