Junior High youth and sponsors: March 17 is the date of this year’s Late Night Blast at Dock Mennonite Academy! From 6:30 to 11:30 pm, we will have inspiring worship, fun games, great fellowship and all the pizza you can eat. Karen’s Place — the coffee shop ministry of Doylestown Mennonite Church — will be open on Saturday, January 14 at 7:00 pm, with a special Clean Comedy Night to benefit children’s charities. The event will raise awareness about child abuse and funds for trauma therapy organizations including Mission Kids, CHOP and St. Christopher’s Hospital among others.  Donations will be accepted for these groups, and the event will be hosted by comedians Al Smith and Dwayne Brake. Parents of children of all ages are invited to a special Parenting Seminar on Saturday, January 14, 6:30 to 9:00 pm at Line Lexington Mennonite Church. The featured presenters, John and Cindy King, are the parents of nine children and bring a wealth of insight and practical help for raising children. “Become an Expert of Your Child” is a free two- part seminar open to everyone.  Join for one night, or both (January 14 and February 18). A pancake breakfast will be held January 21, 7:30 to 11:00 am at  Perkiomenville Mennonite Church.  Breakfast will include pancakes, french toast, sausage, OJ, coffee; cost is a donation and all donations from the breakfast and bake sale will go towards a mission trip to Honduras with MAMA Project.
