The Peace and Justice Committee of Eastern District/Franconia Mennonite Conferences will hold their next Peace Retreat February 10-12 at the beautiful St. Mary of Providence Center in Elverson, PA.  They will welcome author and educator Todd Wynward as the leader in a retreat entitled “Rewilding the Way: Breaking Free to Follow an Untamed God”.  See the attached brochure for more info (or download the bulletin insert, or poster).


While commemorating the birth of the Prince of Peace, you are invited to express your opposition to the militarized drone command center at the Horsham Air Guard Station.  Join others to make a “witness in a time of endless war” on the grassy knoll at the corner of County Line & Easton Roads (Route 611) that begins at noon and goes through 2:00 pm on Saturday, December 31.  Free parking is available at the strip mall in the southwest corner of that intersection. Spruce Lake will hold their Men’s Retreat January 12-13.  Come together with brothers in Christ for gaining strength in Christian discipleship with speaker Dr. Charles Zimmerman, part of the Senior Leadership Team at Calvary Church of Souderton. Wintering in Florida?  The eighth annual Sarasota Mennonite Male Voice Festival, with Lloyd Kauffman as director, is being planned for Sunday, March 5 at Bahia Vista Mennonite Church at 3:00 and 6:00 pm. Rehearsals will be held at the church in February and March, and all men who enjoy singing to God’s glory are invited to participate in this thrilling event.
